Of All the Weirdest Twilight Merchandise Out There...

OK, I've seen Twilight body glitter that will make you "sparkle" like Edward. Even heard of Twilight band-aids (which my sister pointed out may be dangerous in itself with fans purposely cutting themselves just to use them...)

But look at this! This one got me... a Twilight flash drive! Twilight Source has posted that a company called Entertainment Earth will start selling (sometime this month) a 2GB USB flash drive which is lovingly in the shape of the Cullen Crest. Ooo... makes you want to put some top secret Twilight stuff on there... I gotta admit, it's pretty cool. Slightly geeky, but cool...

Oh, and don't forget! It also comes with the New Moon soundtrack! Judging by the picture, I assume that it's already loaded? Twilight is getting modernized! So this item IS for a geek, after all...

If There's a Will, There's an App...

OK, so since there are a million-gazillion apps out there for the iPhone/iTouch, it's no wonder that Summit is going to put one out for Twilight. This one actually looks cool, though. Supposedly it is a mini version of the SceneIt dvd game. So instead of partying with friends over a cool Twilight game, you can party just as hearty yourself! That... didn't come out right...

Hot Topic New Moon Store is Open!

Hey, all you spenders of Twilight $$$, here is yet another outlet to get your merchandise fix at! Hot Topic has just opened their new online store for New Moon today. It's crazy, there are three pages worth of items here, people! Everything from jewelry to hoodies, this stuff is just endless! Oh, I'd like one of each, by the way...

Someone Bought my Volterra T-shirt!

I can't believe this, but someone actually thought my Volterra design was cool, cuz they bought a t-shirt! This is so awesome!

Taylor & Rob Magazine Face-Off!

Well, apparently Entertainment Weekly online is taking the battle between Team Jacob & Team Edward to new heights with this poll about which magazine cover that features the two is hotter!

And on the left... we have Taylor with his signature rosy cheeks, casually reclining on.... (a bed?)

And on the right... Rob doing his best James Dean pose, looking like he just got pulled out of some frigid water.

Well, everyone knows how much I [heart] Rob. But you gotta admit, he does look kinda stoney here. So I voted for Taylor! He does have that intense look that I gotta say is super sexy. But apparently I am in the minority here, because as of right now Taylor only has 29% of the votes!

Val's Caption #2

Well, ok, it's not really a caption. More like a question as to what the original designers of this picture were thinking? (That is the original text there on the right, mine's is on the left.)

Not only is it unappealing and messy-looking, it totally takes away from the point of the picture, which is "Robert Pattinson is HOT!" See, even he is confused as to what he's looking at, he's running his hair through his fingers and looking dazed!

Hehe! An Italian reader from the Twilight Guide submitted this poster that she found for New Moon.

The picture? YES, good!

The person? YES, even better!

The look? OH GOSH, heck yeah!

These Italians have WAY better taste than our poster designs...

Anyway, couldn't figure out what the heck it said at first, so decided to make up some goofy translations! Then I scrolled down and the article had it all translated nice & neat. Doh!

See, they even know which quotes to pick! Ah, puts us Americans to shame...

New Moon Invite - UPDATED

I am contemplating setting up a Zippys bento run before I go to the theater on Friday night. Will let you know details as the date gets closer...

It's New Moon time!

I know, a little early, but Regal & Consolidated theaters have already begun selling tickets, so I'm sure they're really expecting a large amount of people to show up. So let's not get sold out, and have a jolly good time ok, peeps!

As you can see, I'm planning to do a repeat of last year's fiasco with two showings that you can attend at your convenience.

First I'm planning a 11/20 Friday midnite at Dole get-together for the crazy ones (e.g. me.) Last year we showed up at Dole theaters ~8pm because we were unable to wait once we got off work. Due to our early arrival we were second in line to some people that were sorta camping out (crazies!) So this year I figure I will start to get in line ~9pm. You guys can arrive whenever you want, but if you want to get in on some Twilight frenzy then I suggest you get there early, because last year there were plenty of excited fans in line and the mood was pretty exciting!

Then for you semi-crazy Twilighters I'm planning a second outing a mere 19hrs later! This one is for 11/20 Friday @7:00pm at Dole. I know you guys will be coming straight from work, so don't worry, I'll be in line early to save a place for you. The mood at this one should still be exciting, as all the young 'uns out of school are there which makes for a lot more screaming.

The cost of the tickets are $10 each, unless you have a Regal pass from Costco. Then I will just accept the pass in exchange for the money. You'll notice on the invitation I've put down a few names of people that have already replied. I'll be sure to update it so check back on my blog site as the date gets closer.

I know this seems a bit crazy and over the top, but I guarantee you will all have a blast! The opening night showings can't compare to the level of energy that the other nights have, I've experienced it, I should know!

Hot Topic Gives a Sneak Peek of their Upcoming New Moon Merchandise!

Last night the Twilight Guide site posted that Hot Topic is revealing a look at their New Moon goodies a few days early! (Probably to whet our appetites, and ready our wallets for the 10/1 release date.) So check it out!

I'm salivating over the Edward t-shirt, dying to know what it says on the back... but I do have to represent the wolfpack, too! Hint to my hubby: Val's Xmas list will be looooooong this year!

Three New Posters for New Moon

Twilight Guide has revealed some more new posters from New Moon.

Wolfpack - Frankly, I like the one where they're all half-naked better. Jus kiddin. I like the poster, except for Jacob, his arms look a little out of place, dunno why.

Volturi - I think I like this one the best out of them all. They're really playing up Jane's character, yeah? You can just see those necklaces they're wearing being sold at Hot Topic sometime in the new future...

Cullens - I don't know, I can't really go for this one. There's just too many of them for the poster size, and no matter how long I look at it Edward's head just doesn't look right, like it's Photoshop'd. Bella's pose is a little provocative, to me too. She looks like she's going "that's right, this is my man!" Although heck if I wouldn't be saying the same thing!

Well enjoy them nonetheless, we'll be seeing them all over the place soon!

ReRead New Moon!

In anticipation of the upcoming New Moon movie, the local Twilight chapter club that I'm following is rereading New Moon. They're breaking up the chapters by weeks, and have just started chapters 1-3. You can comment on what you've read, and chat about it with other Twilight fans, so check it out here!
