Amazon New Moon Premiere Drawing

Hey, all you Amazon shoppers! I just found out that there will be a drawing going on for a chance to win a trip for two to the premiere of New Moon!
The contest is part of Amazon.com's 10th Anniversary Wishlist Sweepstakes, and this drawing is for Week 1, which is 10/5 - 10/11. So hurry up and enter!
But how do I do that, you say? It's easy! Just create/add to/share a wishlist that you already have on Amazon. If you don't have one, simply create one, and viola! You are automatically entered into the drawing.
This is pretty cool, because not only do you get to fly up to L.A. for the premiere (air and accommodations included), but you get to meet the cast, too!
By the way, they are handing out several other cool prizes during this sweepstakes that will continue on for 10 weeks starting today. Week 3 is a chance to meet the Jonas Brothers! Woops, divulged a little too much about me there...
Good luck!

My Fourth Design Actually Sold!

I am proud to announce that my fourth design for the CafePress New Moon design contest has actually sold an item - a lady in California has bought five mini buttons with this design! I'm such a proud mama right now!

I am still on a roll with these New Moon designs... here is my entry for the Twi-Hard category. You can also check it out here.

New Moon Invite - UPDATED

CONFIRMED:
Alice, Esme, Nessie & Barbara for Friday night @ 7:00pm.
And Nessie & Melissa for midnight premiere.
I am contemplating setting up a Zippys bento run before I go to the theater on Friday night. Will let you know details as the date gets closer...
FYI over 270 tickets sold for the midnite premiere, and 30 tickets for Friday night.

If you haven't yet purchased your tickets and would like to do it online, you can go through Fandango. (There is a surcharge, though.) If you buy tickets on your own, let me know!

It's New Moon time!
I know, a little early, but Regal & Consolidated theaters have already begun selling tickets, so I'm sure they're really expecting a large amount of people to show up. So let's not get sold out, and have a jolly good time ok, peeps!
As you can see, I'm planning to do a repeat of last year's fiasco with two showings that you can attend at your convenience.
First I'm planning a 11/20 Friday midnite at Dole get-together for the crazy ones (e.g. me.) Last year we showed up at Dole theaters ~8pm because we were unable to wait once we got off work. Due to our early arrival we were second in line to some people that were sorta camping out (crazies!) So this year I figure I will start to get in line ~9pm. You guys can arrive whenever you want, but if you want to get in on some Twilight frenzy then I suggest you get there early, because last year there were plenty of excited fans in line and the mood was pretty exciting!
Then for you semi-crazy Twilighters I'm planning a second outing a mere 19hrs later! This one is for 11/20 Friday @7:00pm at Dole. I know you guys will be coming straight from work, so don't worry, I'll be in line early to save a place for you. The mood at this one should still be exciting, as all the young 'uns out of school are there which makes for a lot more screaming.
The cost of the tickets are $10 each, unless you have a Regal pass from Costco. Then I will just accept the pass in exchange for the money. You'll notice on the invitation I've put down a few names of people that have already replied. I'll be sure to update it so check back on my blog site as the date gets closer.
I know this seems a bit crazy and over the top, but I guarantee you will all have a blast! The opening night showings can't compare to the level of energy that the other nights have, I've experienced it, I should know!

Over Two Hundred Midnight Release Tickets Sold at Regal Dole Theaters!

I'm so excited! I bought my advance tickets for the New Moon movie premiere today! The lady at the Regal Dole box office informed me that over two hundred were already sold. When I inquired about whether they would be opening up another screen to sell more tickets, she said she wasn't sure and that it would depend on how many reels they received. Well, I have mine just in case! I'm salivating just looking at them!
Notice that there is one for Friday night, too? Yes, I will be returning to see it AGAIN a mere 19 hours later!!!
HEY.... I just noticed that my midnight premiere ticket has the title "Twilight" instead of "New Moon"??? Does anybody else's say that? Uh oh...

Consolidated Ward Theater Sells Nearly a Hundred Presale Tickets!

Since I was at the movies this past weekend, I figured I would get an inside scoop on the amount of tickets sold so far for the midnight premiere of New Moon.
I was at Ward 16 theaters, and the helpful gentleman at the box office checked and informed me that a quarter of all tickets for one screen had already been purchased as of Saturday night! That brings the number to about a hundred tickets sold just for that location alone! This is a really good sign considering that the movie doesn't come out for another two whole months.
For those debating on purchasing tickets, there probably isn't a cause to worry just yet. At last year's Twilight midnight premiere at Dole theaters, there were in fact two screens debuting the movie. Most likely what the theaters will do is simply open another screen to accommodate the crowd. But if you're anything like me, you won't be able to wait to have that hot little ticket in your hand! Hee Hee...

More Midnite Premieres Scheduled for Hawaii

I'm proud to announce that local Twilighters have made their voices heard! Most likely due to the popularity of the last Twilight film in Hawaii, Consolidated theaters has also started selling tickets for a special midnite release for the upcoming New Moon movie!
This brings the count to eight (count 'em, eight!) theaters on Oahu. Just the thought of hundreds of locals gathering simultaneously to watch Edward & Jacob on the big screen is getting me even more antsy!
Come on, November, hurry up!!!
