Rob's Future Plans?

Well, we all know that his upcoming movie "Remember Me" is set to debut next month, but what else is Rob working on?

I checked out one of my favorite Twilight blogs, and found out that he is indeed going to start filming a movie called "Bel Ami" next month. The film stars all these big-name actresses, including Christina Ricci, Uma Thurman, and Kristin Scott Thomas - and why, you ask all the females? It's cuz Rob's character's going to be bedding all of them! [gasp!] Well, the movie is set in the late 1800's, and he plays the role of a wanna-be journalist that sleeps with all these women to gain fame.

I don't know how I feel about this premise, I will have to see how he does with a real love scene in his next movie, cuz there sure weren't any ones in Twilight. Then again, his first kiss with Bella is pretty steamy... he may have no problem with these ones!

Then there's talk that he may do a movie adaptation of the book "Water for Elephants". I believe that Reese Witherspoon is already cast as the middle of this bizarre love triangle that takes place in a circus, of all places!? I just might wander out of my usual genre of books and read this one if he is really going to star in it.

Well, I must say these roles that Rob choose seem more on the challenging side, coming from an actor's standpoint, I'd guess - so I kinda admire him for picking them!

As long as he's not the next Spidey, ok???...

Rob as Spiderman? --NOT!--

Although I love my RPatz, I gotta admit that when news first reached me that he was being considered to replace Tobey Maguire for the role of Spiderman, I was totally and utterly shocked. Every cell in my body revolts! My head mutters "no, no, don't do it!" Here are my top five reasons why:

#5 I don't think I could stand to see the sight of him and Kirsten Dunst together. Ugh! I may just gag during a kiss scene. This will just feed more flame to my "I don't like Kirsten Dunst fire." I'm telling you, I am even having difficulty seeing him kiss that other actress in "Remember Me"! He should only be kissing Bella! (I'm such a Twilight-moron...)

#4 Rob is known for his slightly out-there roles. Not some mega, superstar, comic book character! I like him because his parts in movies are kinda artsy, and atypical. You cannot fit Robert into a square peg! Hello, the main reason why he fits playing a vampire so well is because he is just good at being "different"??

#3 He can't look dorky. Hey, I am defending him here against all the Rob-haters/Team Jacob freaks! Isn't Peter Parker supposed to be some nerdy photographer who hides behind his camera all the time? It's in the eyes, I'm telling you - Toby was good at the wide-eyed, innocent look. But Robert, oh my, Robert's eyes are.... well let's just say that there's a reason why there's a site devoted to him called "His Golden Eyes". To call it smoldering wouldn't be doing it justice! Now if there was a super hero that could kill with looks...

#2 The hair - what would we do with his hair? If I recall correctly, Peter Parker has this pasty, Ken doll hairstyle. No, no, no - Rob can't have that! His hair just naturally goes.... up! The only time I saw his hair down was for that indie film where it was really long. Otherwise, it just has that natural oomph. And don't forget, he's constantly fluffing his hair up subconsciously!

#1 DUDE CAN'T RUN!!! (Much less swing from web-to-web!) I love Rob, but he is just not athletically superior enough to take this role on. In the cast interviews for Twilight his costars all voted him the least athletic, and even joked about his running resembling that of a mountain goat! That was also obvious in Alice's vision in New Moon where he is chasing Bella. He's got one of those stiff, I-don't-normally-run kind of gaits. And when he was getting pummeled by Felix, he managed to look graceful enough to dodge his attacks, but that's about it. Once Felix caught him in his iron grip, Rob just looked very young, as if he were gripping a little boy! So no, I just can't see Rob beating up the bad guys, if ya know what I mean...

Don't get me wrong, if indeed he does become the next Spiderman, I will support him as usual. Of course I will go see the movie! But if I could talk to the producers I would tell them to leave Rob alone and go find their own Peter Parker, cuz he is OUR Edward! :P

Ed's Interview

I decided to click on this video link when I saw it posted on the New Moon site, just because Rob looked extra gooooorgeous in it, but it was actually pretty funny the things he said!

In the first video he is asked about stunts he did, and he talked about "wrestling with a 7ft bodybuilder and getting beat up." Then the lady asks him if it was another vampire, and Rob clarifies "yes, it was a vampire, I wasn't actually wresting with a bodybuilder!" Cute.

Then in the second part he is asked about the Volturi, and he mentions that they are over 2,000yrs old. He then goes on to say something like "I am always surprised that they look very Caucasian-like. You would expect someone that old to look more.... shorter, or caveman-like." And I realized he has a really good point, because they would've been born around the B.C. ages, right? (That is, if they are really over 2,000yrs old!)

He makes cute and funny, out-there comments, and that is why I love him sooooooo..... hee hee!

Rob made 20 most beautiful people!

Here's a smoldering, smoky, hot, well, you get the idea... picture (focus, Val!) of Rob from his photo shoot for Interview magazine. They named him and Ashley Green two of the top twenty most beautiful people of the decade!

I think that yes, in fact if there were twenty Rob's, that he would be in the top 20, cuz he'd be all of them! Did that make sense? Btw, he's doing the "I want to bite her neck!" look in Twilight during the lab scene! Chilllllling!

Taylor & Rob Magazine Face-Off!

Well, apparently Entertainment Weekly online is taking the battle between Team Jacob & Team Edward to new heights with this poll about which magazine cover that features the two is hotter!

And on the left... we have Taylor with his signature rosy cheeks, casually reclining on.... (a bed?)

And on the right... Rob doing his best James Dean pose, looking like he just got pulled out of some frigid water.

Well, everyone knows how much I [heart] Rob. But you gotta admit, he does look kinda stoney here. So I voted for Taylor! He does have that intense look that I gotta say is super sexy. But apparently I am in the minority here, because as of right now Taylor only has 29% of the votes!

Well, ok, it's not really a caption. More like a question as to what the original designers of this picture were thinking? (That is the original text there on the right, mine's is on the left.)

Not only is it unappealing and messy-looking, it totally takes away from the point of the picture, which is "Robert Pattinson is HOT!" See, even he is confused as to what he's looking at, he's running his hair through his fingers and looking dazed!
